Leah completed her Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees through the University of Melbourne. Thereafter she commenced her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at Royal Hobart Hospital before returning to her hometown of Melbourne. Leah gained invaluable experience through ongoing training at Northern Health, Mercy Hospital for Women, Northeast Health Wangaratta and Albury Wodonga Health services. 

Leah is a qualified Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist being awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2020. Leah holds a public appointment at Northern Health where she manages both low and high-risk pregnancies and general gynaecological conditions. Leah is Northern Health’s Integrated Training Program coordinator, being actively involved in the supervision and education of RANZCOG trainees.

Special Interests:

·  Abnormal cervical screening tests (CST)/Colposcopy (C-QuIP certification)

·  Management of menstrual disorders such as heavy or abnormal bleeding 

·  Laparoscopic surgery for benign conditions (ovarian cysts, pelvic pain) 

·  Contraception and family planning
